Engineering & R&D

Decades of Experience

WilliamsRDM has a reputation for consistently meeting customer requirements on quality, delivery, risk, and value. WilliamsRDM has decades of experience in all phases of electrical, mechanical, and software design—performing innovative engineering research, design, and new product development and manufacturing in Fort Worth, Texas since its founding in 1963. We have significant defense contracting experience since 1965 and have successfully completed numerous contracts as a prime or as a subcontractor to other companies, including several of the “Top 10” prime defense contractors.

Our research and development activities span from basic research to new product development / design, product testing, releasing new products to the marketplace, DMS mitigation, and ongoing product technical support and maintenance/repair. Research activities have included funded research contracts and internal company-funded R&D. Product development practices include design / modeling / simulation; prototype creation; document / version control and configuration management; component sourcing (early procurement / supplier involvement and supply chain planning); project/program management; and design for manufacturability, reliability, and maintainability.

WilliamsRDM has developed and produced hundreds of unique, reliable, cost-effective products.
